The Comfort Inn 1550 N.La Crosse Street (606) 348-2221, is a great place to stay ( Mike Mekching ) if you ever plan a trip here. Other than the ride from Bakersfield to Mesquite, this was the first day we didn't get rained on. Local say it doesn't rain or snow as mush as it has this year at this time. Last week there was a blizzard is shut down the town for two days.
People around here trust each other, we pumped our gas then pay. They even trust 5 bikers from California. We stopped in a place to get lunch today kind of a self serve diner we ate I had a Hamburger, man I piled it on two patties, double cheese, five strips of bacon, onion. pickles, tomatoes, chili, fries and a forty-four Coke. I told the lady I had a piece of pie and water. She charged me $3.15. We saw wild life today almost had a Antelope run out right in front of us.
There is more Pronghorn Antelope in Wyoming the anywhere in the world.
We stopped in a store for some water today in Lost Spring, Wy. That what the sign says population 1. Whoever this person is owns this store we went in. It was opened but no one was there just a sign saying "Gone to town, Help yourself, Leave cash in basket. Instruction on using the card machine on wall by machine." Free stuff sure is gooooooood! Man, these people sure do trust every one.
Here is F-in Magellan adjusting his rain gear just west of Rawlins Wy. yesterday.
This is the view from the home of Dani and Andy. I bet its hard waking up every morning to this.
One more thing I paid full price for my meal today. And there was no store in Lost Spring that we stopped in. I though it would make a more interesting blog today. People do trust each other in these here parts. It kinda nice to see.
Its time for my road kill report 46 unknowns, 2 snakes, 3 raccoons, 1 porky pine, 3 antelope and 1 skunk.
Weather for Rapid City tomorrow possible Blizzard. Why not? I've never been in a blizzard.

Thats pretty strange that you walked into a store with no attendents...WHAT! That Lost Springs sign is something to see "POPULATION 1" Thats great! is that where they got the phrase Me, Myself & I. Can't wait to hear all about it
